LiNa
Due to the demographic change in society, there is a considerable lack of barrier-free, age-appropriate and affordable housing. The cooperative housing project “LiNa – Leben in Nachbarschaft eG” has set itself the goal of creating living space that meets these requirements and at the same time meets the highest architectural, ecological and technical standards. The project also meets all the criteria for inclusion in the NRW Ministry of Climate Protection’s state funding programme (“100 climate protection housing estates in Nordrhein-Westfalen”).
The planning team of STF Energy supported the cooperative association LiNa e.V. from planning and application to completion and use. The client receives benefits under the support programme for measures to establish a climate protection settlement and thus funds from “progres.nrw” and “KfW40”. The technical highlights of the project: The required thermal insulation standard corresponds to that of a passive house, controlled domestic ventilation (decentralised), pellet heating, solar thermal energy and photovoltaics. Energieagentur.NRW GmbH, which acts on behalf of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on all issues relating to energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate protection, has included the building project in its portfolio and officially listed it.
The architectural concept for the planning and development of the residential project comes from Dorsten architect Hans G. Schmidt-Domogalla. (Picture: Hans G. Schmidt Domogalla/Schmidt-Planung)
